Dedication of plaque at the school

From October of 2003 to April 2004, a donation was made to the school “Centro Escolar Católico El Espíritu Santo”, located in the coffee growing region of Juayúa, Sonsonate.

Our sister company, RoCorp Trading in coordination with EDE Consulting and Muyshondt Avila, donated and supervised the construction of two classrooms and a library for the school.

History of the foundation of the school:

In 1971 the school started operations as a school for girls under the administration of Father José Luis Martínez. In 1983, after 12 years, authorization was granted by the Ministry of Education to operate as “Colégio El Espíritu Santo” with children from first to ninth grade, serving communities of Juayúa, La Majada and Salcoatitán.

Then, in 1998, the school was denominated “Escuela Congregacional El Espíritu Santo” as an official educational center. In 2002, after the signature of the agreement No. 15-0628, the Ministry of Education authorized the school to operate under the name of “Centro Escolar Católico El Espíritu Santo”.

Currently, the school operates with 15 teachers dedicated to serve 413 students, from kindergarten to high school.

Muyshondt Avila, as a member of Neumann Kaffee Gruppe, is constantly searching for opportunities to participate in projects that will promote improvement in the areas of education, health, sports, and also in projects for conservation and protection of natural resources.

In general, Muyshondt Avila is always looking for ways to improve the standards of life of all the people in the communities involved in coffee production.
